Who we are
Englewood Live Wire Wrestling Club, founded by Tevin Oneil, also known as Coach Tevin, is a dynamic, youth-focused organization based in Chicago that is committed to making a significant impact on the local community. Despite being formally established only two years ago, Englewood Live Wire has been creating opportunities for young athletes at Ogden Park since 2017, demonstrating a track record of dedication and success.
The organization stands out as the only full-time wrestling program within the Chicago Park District, operating five days a week for three hours each day. This commitment to consistent programming ensures local youth have regular access to sports activities, fostering both their physical development and their character growth.
Englewood Live Wire is a volunteer-run 501c3 that operates year-round, making it a stalwart presence in the community. The organization not only encourages local youth to participate in sports but also helps them compete at the national level, thereby expanding their horizons and helping them achieve their full potential.
