Coach Tevin O’Neil

Tevin O'Neil has been a passionate wrestler since the age of 8, dedicating much of his life to the sport. He honed his skills at Morgan Park High School, where he competed and developed a strong foundation in wrestling. Tevin graduated from Urban Prep, where he not only excelled in academics but also continued to develop the skills and resilience necessary for not only success on the wrestling mat, but also in life.

In 2017, Tevin founded the Englewood Livewire Wrestling Club with a mission to give back to his community. He recognized that athletes in Greater Englewood and South Side of Chicago deserved the best opportunities to excel in the sport, just as he did. Through ELW, Tevin is committed to providing young wrestlers with the resources, training, and mentorship they need to succeed both on and off the mat. His dedication to empowering the next generation of athletes reflects his belief in the positive impact of sports within the community.
